Terms & Conditions & Refund Policy

The Injectionist & Aesthetics — Calgary & Edmonton

1. General Terms

By purchasing products or booking services (online or in-clinic), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. We operate medical aesthetic clinics in Calgary and Edmonton, providing non-surgical cosmetic procedures, skincare, and medical-grade products delivered by licensed professionals. Information provided is educational and not a substitute for medical advice.

2. Consultation Requirement & Candidacy

All treatments—whether purchased online, during promotions, or in clinic—require a medical consultation before service. Treatment will not proceed until candidacy is confirmed by a licensed clinician. If you’re unsuitable due to medical history, contraindications, allergies, pregnancy/breastfeeding, active infections, or practitioner discretion, we will offer an alternative service or clinic credit. We reserve the right to decline or defer any treatment in the interest of safety. Completion of medical intake and informed consent is mandatory.

3. Refund, Prepaid & Interval Treatment Policy

3.1 Services Rendered

All services rendered, including but not limited to injectable treatments, are final sale and non-refundable, regardless of outcome. Results vary by individual; no specific results are guaranteed.

3.2 Prepaid Services (Standard & Promotional)

  • Within 14 days of purchase: eligible for a full refund.

  • Days 14–60: refund subject to an $85 administrative fee.

  • After 90 days: refund subject to a 20% deduction from the original treatment value.

  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 14 business days after approval.

  • If any portion has been rendered, the rendered portion is final sale.

3.3 Product Purchases

Unopened, unused medical-grade skincare may be returned within 14 days of purchase with proof of purchase. Opened products, prescription items, and clearance/promotional products are final sale due to health regulations.

3.4 Promotional Value & Expiry

Promotional prepaid services must be redeemed within 90 days. After 90 days, the promotional value expires; the remaining balance converts to general clinic credit. Any refund on an unused balance at this stage remains subject to a 20% deduction from the original amount paid.

3.5 Interval-Based Packages

For multi-session series (e.g., skin boosters, bio-stimulators, PRP):

  • The first session must be completed within 90 days of purchase.

  • Remaining sessions must follow the clinician-recommended schedule provided at consultation.

  • Failure to remain on schedule may result in loss of promotional pricing and conversion of the remainder to general clinic credit at standard rates.

  • If a refund is requested after treatment has begun (before all sessions are completed), a 20% deduction applies to the original promotional price paid, regardless of the number of sessions used.

  • No exceptions will be made to this policy; it is communicated before purchase or treatment.

4. Package Validity & Transfers

Unless otherwise stated, prepaid packages/credits are valid for 12 months from purchase. Clinic credits are non-transferable without written consent and may not be used to purchase further promotions unless specified.

5. Appointment & Cancellation Policy

A valid card may be required to book. Please provide 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations, late arrivals (which may shorten the appointment), or no-shows may incur a $50–$100 fee depending on service type. Repeated no-shows may limit future bookings.

6. Pricing, Taxes, Promotions & Errors

All prices are in CAD and subject to applicable taxes. Prices, promotions, and service menus may change without notice. In case of typographical, inventory, or pricing errors online or in clinic, we may cancel or refuse orders placed at the incorrect price and issue a full refund where applicable.

7. Medical Consent, Risks & Aftercare

Informed consent is required prior to treatment. You acknowledge potential risks (e.g., bruising, swelling, asymmetry, vascular events for injectables, pigmentation changes, sensitivity), and agree to follow all pre- and post-care instructions. Failure to follow aftercare may affect results and risk profile.

8. Limitation of Liability

Within the bounds of applicable law, our liability for any claim related to services or products is limited to the amount paid for the specific service or product at issue. No outcome is guaranteed. We provide appropriate follow-up care and evidence-based management for adverse events consistent with standard medical practice.

9. Privacy & Confidentiality

We protect your personal and health information in compliance with applicable privacy laws. Data is collected to provide safe, effective care and will not be sold. For details on collection, storage, and access, see our Privacy Policy.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, imagery, clinical protocols, and program names—Liquid Peach®, AgeReverse Pyramid Method®, PermaFiltr®, PermaYouth®, PermaLift®, and others—are proprietary to The Injectionist & Aesthetics and may not be used without written permission.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes shall be handled in Alberta under provincial jurisdiction. If any provision is deemed unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

Liquid Peach® Deposit Policy (for clarity)

A $500 deposit is required to secure a Liquid Peach® booking; it is applied to the treatment cost on the day of service. If cancelled or rescheduled within 7 days of the appointment, the deposit is forfeited and a new deposit is required to rebook. Deposits are non-refundable after the 7-day window.
